Winter 2021 litter

Winter 2021 Litter
Our first litter of Scotch Collie puppies is expected to arrive Winter, 2021, around mid-December. This means puppies will be ready for new homes around March 2022.
This first litter will be between Heritage Our Laddie and Sivyer Glen Bonnie Scarlet Ree. We expect a wide range of temperaments to come from this pair, across the whole spectrum of dispositions, all the way from low to high energy. We do not breed specifically for color, rather, we see it more as the cherry on top. Having never bred this pairing before, we are not completely sure what colors will come out of it. However it seems sables, both bifactored and trifactored, sable merles, tri colors, and blue merles are all possibilities. As Scarlet is a Sable headed white, all of her puppies will be white factor carriers.

**Scarlet is MDR-1 carrier/unaffected. Laddie is negative/non-carrier. This means that roughly 25% of their expected litter will be carrier/unaffected. Please note that carrier/unaffected dogs can still present some slight sensitivities to MDR-1 class drugs, thus caution should be used when any veterinary procedure is done or when using pest preventative drugs such as dewormers and flea prevention.**
